For the person who asked about PH still being alive, he&#039;s very much alive. I guess the heart attack news of few years ago made people think he died. 

He reformed VdGG and yes he still performs solo.  VdGG did a series of sold out gigs in Europe last year as well as releasing new material. Google for more VdGG/PH info.</description>

		<description>thank you for your comment. I went to see them when they played in Amsterdam. It was really amazing to see them play live. Jackson playing his two saxes at once, and Evans still matchless on the drums. And of course Hammills vocals were still as powerful as when they started.</description>
